Education
Masters Degree with Distinction
After completing my bachelor's degree, I went on to achieve a Masters with distinction in Writing. This higher level of education gave me experience writing long-form creative content. For my final project, I developed a full-length script for a childrens' animated feature film.
First Class Bachelor's Degree
Having always had a keen interest in creative writing, I knew that I wanted to pursue the subject in my further education. Developing my writing and written communication skills would prove useful in both my personal life and my future career and after three years, I achieved a first class degree in Creative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University.
A-Levels
In sixth-form college, I chose to study ICT, Media Studies, English Language and General studies and was able to achieve 4 a-levels in the a-c grade range.
Experience
Senior Digital Marketer
In my curent role, I am responsible for managing ongoing marketing projects and reporting key metrics. This includes planning email campaigns using Salesforce Account Engagement and Mailchimp, managing relationships with suppliers and scheduling social media posts with buffer.
Senior Graphic Designer
My previous role was primarily focused on visual branding, graphic design and UX. This covered vector graphics, video content creation, motion graphics, meta ads, social media management and branding work across multiple channels including print, web and social media. While in this role, I trained and provided feedback for junior team members.
Creative Executive
In this role, I managed a small marketing team and was responsible for content creation, social media scheduling, graphic design, marketing reports, email marketing, wordpress web development and print product design. I also set up and ran an LMS e-commerce store for the company.
